Resident Overnight Camp

Camp Glacier Hollow is a YMCA Resident Overnight Camp offering youth a safe environment in which positive values, personal growth, lifelong friendships, environmental awareness, and outrageous fun are key elements. Join us this summer for an experience that lasts a lifetime! We have great food too!

*Typical Resident Overnight Camp arrival is after 1:30pm on Sunday and pick-up is before 12:00noon on Saturday for 7 day programs or 5:00pm on Friday for 6 day programs. Beginning Adventurers pick-up is at 5:00pm on Wednesday.

At Glacier Hollow YMCA Resident Overnight Camp our campers enjoy a mix of traditional camp activities with special attention is placed on the theme of the week, outdoor skills and environmental education hands-on activities.  In addition, through evening campfires, group games and activities, campers will laugh and create new memories and friends.

Beginning Adventurers (ages 7-10)
June 23-26, 2019 (4 days)
Beginning Adventurers is a 4-day session for younger and first-time campers and is a great intermediate progression point from day camp to the full 6/7-day resident camp. Campers will experience hands-on camp activities like pond mucking, canoe lessons, fishing, archery and more… Special attention will be given to helping campers feel comfortable in new surroundings. Enthusiastic counselors will guide these young campers in discovering the wonders of nature and camping, while building confidence and independence.

Camp Wise Spirits (Girls ages 8-14)
July 7-12, 2019 (6 days)
Just for girls – Camp Wise Spirits concentrates on the activities that our girl campers have told us they love the best! Campers will learn about themselves, build self-confidence, make meaningful friendships, develop new skills and have lots of traditional camp fun.

The Adventure (ages 8-13)

July 14-19, 2019 (6 days)
A week like no other! This session combines a focus on outdoor skills with our traditional camp activities.  An outdoor rock climbing and caving trip are the two special off camp excursions this week. Space is limited this week so register early for the ADVENTURE!

Timbertop Camp (ages 8-13 w/ Learning Disabilities)

August 4-10, 2019 (7 days)
Timbertop Camp is for boys and girls that have been identified by their school districts as needing extra help for a learning disability. Timbertop combines traditional camp programs with extra reading practice and special group activities that focus on dealing with learning disabilities. Special attention is paid to peer relations, building self-confidence and learning new skills. Please contact us to request special registration materials. Splash & Sport (ages 8-13)
August 11-16, 2019 (6 days)
Splash & Sport week will be wet n’ wild! This session will include a river canoe/kayak trip, lots of fishing time, snorkeling, a giant slip n’ slide, beach party, our famous Wells Fargo, and water Nature Quest activities.
