Teacher Comments

We had and excellent day yesterday, nothing but positives from the kids and more importantly the parents.  I will tell more people about what a great experience it is for the students.  Much appreciated!
John Platten, Plover-Whiting Elementary

Our experience at Glacier Hollow was Wonderful.  The staff was very helpful in meeting our students' needs.  The actual event ran very smoothly, and best of all, our students had a Awesome time!
Candice Kamin,  Bannach Elementary

Our students thoroughly enjoyed their experience at Glacier Hollow.  There was a variety of activities, all of which we had a choice in selecting prior to the big day.  The activities were authentic, hands on--and set in an extraordinarily natural and beautiful setting.  The staff members of Glacier were knowledgeable, friendly and successful in imparting some valuable nature skills to our students.  Also of importance, the day was affordable!
I thank you and highly recommend it to any other elementary school or group.
Pete Werner,
Kennedy Elementary School Principal

A day at YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow gives children the opportunity to experience nature in ways I could never teach in the classroom. For many, it's their first time in a canoe or kayak. They leave feeling very proud of their newly acquired skill. The staff is so accommodating with activities and classes. Their upbeat way with the material excites the children and holds their attention. It's always a day well spent. We talk about it for days afterward.
Vickie Vaughn, Elderon Elementary
