Week 4 - Horsemanship I Beginner Level
(ages 9-14) - June 28 – July 2
Week 5 - Horsemanship II Advanced Level
(ages 10-14) - July 5-9
Week 8 - Horsemanship III Beginner Level
(ages 9-14) - July 26-30
Week 11 - Horsemanship IV Advanced Level
(ages 10-14) - August 16-20
Interested in horses and horseback riding? These day camps are for you! Throughout the week, we will touch on many different areas: horse safety, grooming and tack, saddling, ground work (lunging and leading), mounting, dismounting, feeding and care, horse breeds, identification and daily horseback riding lessons. Horsemanship activities will be mixed with various camp activities. Camp is held at Heartland Stables in Custer, WI. Transportation is provided. Advanced Level pre-requirement is participation in a previous Stevens Point Area YMCA 
Horsemanship Camp or proven horsemanship experience.

Free extended care is available at the YMCA from 6:30am to 9:00am and 4:30pm to 6:00pm

2010 Theater Day Camp
Week 8 - Theater Camp (ages 8-14) - July 26 - 30
Lights, Camera, Action! Like to be on center stage? Put your unique talents to use! We will audition for and perform a play, as well as learn acting techniques, play improvisation games and work on props. It is sure to be an exciting week full of fun and drama! This DAY Camp is held at an off-site Auditorium. Bus transportation is provided from the YMCA. Limited to 30 participants.
- Camp Hours are 9:00am to 4:30pm - Monday - Friday
- Free extended care is available at the YMCA from 6:30am to 9:00am and 4:30pm to 6:00pm
- Play performance will be held on Friday at 6:00pm
