Our number one priority at camp is to provide a safe and fun environment where campers can learn, grow and make new friends. A carefully selected, experienced and well-trained staff will lead the way as we journey through a variety of exciting theme weeks and traditional camp activities. The “Theme of the Week” compliments regular camp activities and culminates with a theme celebration typically done on Thursdays. Don’t miss out! Join us for a week or an entire summer to remember.
Week 1 – Ready-Set-Camp ~ June 7-8
*HOT Lunch Available Week 2 – Crazy Camp Crafts ~ June 11-15
Outrageous outfits, crazy hair & hats, wacky Olympics, and really cool camp crafts! We will fit many of the most asked for camp crafts into this week. You will need to bring a white t-shirt or other item to tie-dye. Come get CRAZY with us.
Week 3 – Pioneer Adventure ~ July 18-22
Outdoor living, rope, candle and soap making, dutch oven cook off – we will discover the life and adventures of the early pioneers and explorers. Thursday night overnight campers will sleep out in tents or made shelters.

Giant four square, kickball, ultimate frisbee, croquet, basketball, football, steal the sticks, and crazy Olympics are just a few of the typical and wacky activities we will play this week.

Week 5A – Campfire Cook Off ~ July 2-3
Bake it, grill it, fry it and roast it! We are learning how to cook outside using dutch ovens, campfires, cook stoves and marshmallow sticks. Come hungry as lunch will not only be provided, but cooked by the campers themselves. Do you know how to cook an egg inside an orange, or make soup in a paper bag? Come learn how.
Week 5B – Nock When Ready ~ July 5-6 Ready, aim, FIRE! Spend two days focusing on honing your skils as a marksman. Enjoy archery, atlas and slingshots as we add moving targets to the ranges. Special awards to longest shot, highest score and more will be presented on Friday. Whether you are learning for the first time or fine tuning your skills there will be something for everyone who likes target sports.

Week 6 – Zombie Survival ~ July 9-13
What will we do after the zombies come? Come get your zombie survial training at Camp Glacier Hollow. Learn how to grow your own food, compost your own dirt and make your own electricity. Each camper will receive an Emgergency Preparedness packet to take home to help pass on their zombie survial skills to their families.
**Thursday Night Overnight Option
Who is going to reel in the BIG one? This week is all about fishing. Campers will spend the week learning about safety, casting, baiting and about preserving this great sport. Campers will fish by boat and from shore in at least two locations during the week. Overnight Campers will fish at the crack of dawn! Fishing pole required. This Week has an additional $10 fee to help cover supplies and busing. Space is limited to 40 campers!

**Wednesday Night Overnight Option Thursday night is also our mid summer cook-out. Free to all families enrolled in Glacier Hollow Camps this summer. Week 8 – Artrageous ~ July 23-27
Outrageous fun and creativity packed into one week! Local artists and our staff will help campers explore their artistic abilities using a variety of mediums. Painting, crafts, writing, mosaics, drawing, traditional camp arts...plus a whole lot more.
Week 9 – Wet n' Wild ~ July 30 - August 3
This ever-popular week will be exactly that – soakin’ with wet and wild excitement. We will experience water and wacky fun all week, including our very popular 75 foot slip n’ slide, a beach party, aqua adventures, and a trip to an area water park on Wednesday. This week has an additional $20 water park fee.

**Thursday Night Overnight Option Yeee haw! Square dancing, water shoot-outs, gold rush games, egg tosses, and sling shots – we’ll have a good’ole time. We will even have a campfire cookout with franks & beans on Friday for lunch. Campers also can participate in a horseback riding adventure for an additional $25 fee. Week 11 – Fun-Struction ~ August 13-17 We have to make it before we play. We will be making group projects to bring custom fun to camp this week. Build a raft as a group and race them in the lake. Bring your hard hat and your t-square and let the fun-struction begin!

Week 12 - the Great Outdoors ~ August 20-24
Do you have what it takes? Our woods become a jungle of excitement and exploration as we play adventure games, have survival challenges and work as a team to survive the Great Outdoors.

**Wednesday Night Overnight Option Week 12 Special Options: Campers ages 9 and up can participate in a canoeing trip down the Plover River on Thursday or Friday and a outdoor rock climbing trip (weather permitting) on Wednesday. All rock climbers are required to enroll in the Wednesday Night Overnight, as we will return later in the evening. All equipment is supplied. No experience necessary. Space is limited, so register early for these options.
Week 13 – Best of the Best ~ August 27-31
Enjoy one last hurrah as we put together the Best of the Best, including all of your favorite games and camp activities. *HOT Lunch Available

Thursday night is also our end of summer cook-out. Free to all families who attended Glacier Hollow Camps this summer. 2012 Teen Day Camp
(ages 12-15 must be entering 7th grade)
Teen Camp is for all teens who want to spend a fun and exciting summer at camp. It can be a first step into the LIT program. Participants will follow weekly day camp themes to guide everyday activities, but have the flexibility to work with staff to design their own program. Traditional camp activities, service projects and some special trips will be included in every week. (Space is limited.)
