YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow is a Wisconsin summer camp that offers a variety of traditional Resident Overnight Camps, Day Camps and Adventure Trips for youth ages 7-17.   We are dedicated to providing a safe, fun and small group environment, which develops the spirit, mind and body of each individual.  Camp is a special place where youth and teens learn about the environment, develop positive values, make meaningful friendships, learn new skills and increase self-confidence.   In our community of caring adults Y Camp Glacier Hollow summer camp helps kids grow and find themselves.

Camp is nestled just 14 miles east of Stevens Point in beautiful Central Wisconsin on Lake Elaine.  Outdoor recreation and EE based programs are also available to school and youth groups May through September.

YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow is owned and operated by the Stevens Point Area YMCA.

Resident/Overnight Camp (ages 7-14) – There are six sessions of Resident Camp offered.  All of our weeks include traditional camp programming and then have a specialized theme.  Themes include: the Adventure (rock climbing, caving and outdoor skills); Campers for LIFE (fitness and healthy living); Beginning Adventurers (3 nights for the first time camper); Splash & Sport (fishing and lots of water activities); Wise Spirits with horsemanship / horseback riding option (for girls only); and Timbertop Camp (for youth ages 8-13 with learning disabilities).

Adventure Trips (ages 12-17) – The adventurous teen can travel off camp to experience the thrills of rock climbing, caving, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting and backpacking.  A great next step! Experience is not necessary on most trips.

Day Camp (ages 7-12) – There are twelve weeks of fun and exciting Day Camps. Campers participate in traditional camp activities joined with the special weekly themes to keep things new.  Some of this years themes include; Funstruction, Zombie Apocalypse, Art in the Wild, the BIG Catch, Wet & Wild, Pirate Pizazz, Lumberjack Days, Wild Wild West and the Great Outdoors.  We also have Horsemanship / Horseback Riding Day Camps.

Leaders and Counselors In Training (ages 12-17) – Teens who successfully complete the Teen Leadership Training Camp can be placed as an LIT or CIT in our Day and/or Resident Camp programs. Many camp staff have graduated from this training program.

Family Camp – Many parents want to return to or experience camp for the first time. Family Camp is held over one weekend during the summer giving the entire family an opportunity to share the wonderful experiences of camp.
